We therefore as God’s children must live in conformity with Him. The Bible says of you in Ephesians 4:24 (NLT) that you “Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” By this we live conscious of God at work in us and through us, conscious of who we are and Whose we are in Christ. There is therefore no condemnation for us as we are no longer ruled by the flesh but by God’s Spirit (Romans 8:1). We no longer depend on physical senses but are God-conscious at all times. Now, the fullness of God’s love encompasses and propels us. In Ephesians 3:19 we read that this love goes far beyond knowledge, meaning that it’s so great that it cannot be fully comprehended.
WHY NOT WITH JESUS? You too may ask those yet to know Him. God’s Word in Hosea 10:12 (GNT) states “…It is time for you to turn to me, your Lord, and I will come and pour out blessings upon you.” We read of Cornelius in Acts 10:1-8 that he did not delay, and of the jailer in Acts 16:25-34, who did not hesitate but took hold of the opportunity to be saved.
To the one who is yet to receive Christ’s salvation; God is good, He gives us His righteousness “I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed…” (Isaiah 46:13). All you need to do is to embrace this priceless offer. It is out of God’s boundless love that He is offering you His righteousness. Be wise and not delay. This is out of His infinite love and mercy for the Man (His created work) that He designed redemption package through Christ after Adam lost it at the Garden of Eden. This second-chance/regeneration package offers man the glorious opportunity to live in conformity with His Maker. “It is true that through the sin of one man death began to rule because of that one man. But how much greater is the result of what was done by the one man, Jesus Christ! All who receive God's abundant grace and are freely put right with him will rule in life through Christ.18 So then, as the one sin condemned all people, in the same way the one righteous act sets all people free and gives them life.” (Romans 5:17-18 GNT)
By Christ redemption work, you come alive to God. You became a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old and sinful ways gone and the new and glorious life is lived with dedication and determination. The regenerated brand new you now relate with God without fear or inferiority because the gift of righteousness that Christ has given.
