Meet Lisa Jo
I’d like you to meet a friend of mine,
Her name is Lisa Jo.
She was born in May,
On the very first day,
And she’s plump from head to toe.
She has dimply cheeks and sparkling brown eyes,
And wears glasses to help her see.
She has curly, brown hair,
Pulled up with great care,
On top of her head like a tree!
Her very best friend is Charlie Boy,
He always helps Lisa Jo.
They share, laugh and play,
Together, each day,
Holding hands wherever they go.
She loves to laugh and ask lots of questions,
She’s friendly and funny and sweet.
Sometimes she’s afraid…
She’s starting first grade!
Her house is on Applewood Street.
If you need a friend, Lisa Jo will be there,
Where you wish, she’s happy to go!
Need help? She’ll try,
She won’t tell you a lie,
She loves Jesus, and wants you to know!
Lisa Jo isn’t perfect, and she makes her mistakes,
But you’ll like her, just continue to look.

Lisa Hudson and her husband, Charlie, live in Clarksville, Tennessee, with their three children. The Hudsons own their own business and are very proud to be a positive force within the Clarksville community. Lisa is a children’s Sunday school teacher for Gum Springs Baptist Church in nearby Cunningham, Tennessee.
