We have all seen the repercussions of the Corona Virus, with much of it yet remaining throughout the world. Numerous individuals continue to hide behind their masks or closed doors, hesitating to venture out because of their dread of contamination through association with other people. Sadly, this is affecting the body, soul and spiritual health of us all, and it is especially detrimental to our children...
We see the mighty Giant Sequoia standing straight and tall, appearing to be self-sustaining, but if we could see beneath the ground, we’d discover these giants of the forest rely on an interesting support system. They have long roots which are intertwined and tightly tangled with other trees for strength, in order to survive.
Like the Giant Sequoia, a Christian was never meant to go it alone but rather to be firmly intertwined, rooted and grounded in the Foundation of the Family of God. The community of believers is the Christian’s support system, and that support system is available to us through regular attendance and fellowship in a local church. Without that support, we become weak and vulnerable. Through the following pages, readers will be inspired to see the absolute need for secure placement in a Bible-believing church where you will experience the strength and encouragement that is available as they become well-established in obedience to God’s plan.

About the Book
Along with other institutions, the Church took a devastating hit from the Covid Virus pandemic. Millions of people on earth were inhibited from living freely in close connection with their fellow man, refraining from social activity including church attendance. Sadly, numerous individuals have continued to neglect the physical gathering of the church and are being deprived of the strength and encouragement available through their local church. Within these pages you will find a call back to church in obedience to Hebrews 10:25, motivating individuals by clearly showing the importance of regular church attendance.
About the Author
Connie’s Bible studies and short stories are also published in other books, magazines, and newspapers, and she was a newspaper columnist for seven years. We Are The Branches is her 7th book. Connie has worked as a church secretary, pianist and Bible study teacher. She was interviewed on several television channels when teaching a class for overcoming phobias. She and her husband have four children and ten grandchildren. Although Connie is semi-retired and works part time as a secretary for her husband’s construction business, she said that as long as she lives, she hopes to continue to write and work full time in obedience to Jesus Christ.
