I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I attended and graduated from University Laboratory School (U-High), class of 1999; Southeastern Louisiana University, class of 2004; and Medical Training College, class of 2009. I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe for one year (1999–2000) and Louisiana State University for one year (2000–2001), but I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana (2001–2004). I have a bachelor’s of family and consumer science in the area of family studies from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a diploma as a medical office specialist from Medical Training College. I held a national license to bill and code from January 2010 through January 2012 under the National Healthcare Association. I have not done much in my life since college because I lacked a clear direction to take. Finding what I am good at such as writing, has brought clear direction to my life more recently. I have always enjoyed writing a short story or poem whenever I get inspired. I have enjoyed writing this book because I always enjoy helping others and trying to make a difference in someone else’s life! I believe that anyone is capable of making a difference in people’s lives from day to day, no matter how small it is. Don’t forget to ask yourself how you can help someone else in need today!
