Life Overcomer

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if life were perfect? I remember as a child I loved to listen to fairy tales, where everyone’s dreams come true. Just at the perfect moment, the fairy god mother arrived on the scene, gave the poor underprivileged hero or heroine of the fairy tale just the courage, grace, or strength they needed, and changed a hurtful situation into something beautiful. And they all lived happily ever after. This is the perfect fantasy that our children are encouraged to believe. But what happens when life isn’t exactly perfect, when the problems in a person’s life are so overwhelming that they can hardly see it through to the next day? I’m afraid this situation needs more than a quick fix brought by the magical fairy god mother. In the situations and pain of my life, I have found the answer is in a personal and vital relationship with God through his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the one who can make the pain of life make sense, and through the pain allow us to learn about ourselves and how we relate to others. Then the healing process can start.

It is my hope and prayer through this book that many might see the love of God, and find hope through whatever they may be going through. Maybe my story can touch a life or encourage some struggling person to keep trying and never give up. I endeavor to give hope to all who read this book, that God is more than able to speak to any situation and shed light on either the way out or the way to overcome it. Sometimes through persistence and “hanging tough” we become stronger, wiser and more patient, and truly can become a “LIFE OVERCOMER
