Excerpt from My Testimony:
As we go through life each of us encounter some kind of trial, or some kind of difficulty. What many of us don’t seem to see is how God’s hand is upon us when we are faced with a crisis.
In my life, there are so many times had it not been for the Father’s intervention that I would not even be here today to share what He has done for me. During those trying times, it is difficult to imagine going on. I have been through life-threatening situations. I endured homelessness where I slept under houses and between buildings just to feel safe. I have begged for money just to be able to eat and survive. I have been through the drug scene, and I can honestly tell you that drugs only make matters worse including compromising your health. I abused my body with alcohol and learned if you drink enough and long enough that alone will destroy you. I have attempted suicide on three occasions and came very close to death. These situations are not always overcome on your own. It takes God’s intervention …

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let your faith grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”

About the Book
When God Is with Me
I know that God is always with me, but there have been many God moments throughout my life where he miraculously intervened. In this book, When God Is with Me, I have written short stories and poems of instances when God revealed his power and grace. God doesn’t work the same way in every person’s life, but he does love us all the same. It is my desire that by exposing situations and circumstances in my own life, readers will see a glimpse of God’s divine intervention.
If you are experiencing loneliness, illness, despair, rejection, or hopelessness, there is hope for you through Jesus Christ. I am a living testimony of God’s grace, as you will read in this book. I pray this book will guide you to open your heart and your life to Jesus and let him bring healing and joy into your circumstances.
About the Author
Frances Ann Spillers was born and raised in Galveston, Texas, where she received much of the inspiration for her writing. At an early age, Frances began to have a passion for writing as it always revealed the way she felt about life, people, and her surroundings. She was an introvert and unable to share with her voice how she truly felt, so she learned to pen her feelings. Later in life, Frances trusted in God and began to share about His divine power with a strong voice. She believes her writing is a gift God gave her to express her thoughts about Him and how He intervenes for her personally. Her love for Him depicts the true feelings of her own life and His life through her. Frances hopes this book ministers to her readers and that it will draw their hearts closer to God and to His wonderful love for them.
