Cloudy or Clear, Jesus is Near
The clouds over the hills as viewed from my dining room window were black and ominous looking. They appeared dense and stormy. It looked as if we were in for rain. But as the morning moved forward the clouds brightened and lessened. The sun shone and we got no storm.
How often we view our days as those angry storm laden clouds. Our problems are too dense, too burdensome to be borne. We see no end in sight to the troubles we envision. But as we “cast our burdens on Him” the problems seem to lessen and fade. The storms are averted or at least become manageable because Jesus shoulders the load.

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for being my constant Shelter even if storms do come and for taking my burdens as Your own. In the Name that is above every name, Jesus. Amen.

Between God and Me is a book about learning to trust God in all circumstances. It is the result of tragedies and triumphs of everyday life that only God could orchestrate as we trust in His unfailing love. It is designed to draw you closer to Him as you study His Word and put it into practice in your own life. Be blessed by Him as you read this book.
About the Author
The author is a Christ follower who wants others to share eternity with the Lord Jesus in heaven. To that end, she has written devotionals and shared with others what Jesus means to her. The author has been involved in her local churches wherever she has lived. With a bachelor’s of arts degree in history and a master’s degree in education, the author was involved in curriculum writing throughout her forty-one-year career as a high school teacher. She was a public high school teacher for thirty-five years in California and then moved to Idaho to teach junior and senior high school students at a private Christian school. Retired from classroom teaching, the author now enjoys Bible study groups in the community and her local church, both as a teacher and as a learner.
The author has two grown sons and three grandsons. She currently lives on the family farm in Idaho. She enjoys traveling the country and visiting family or historical sites. When she is not writing, she enjoys quilting, reading, and studying the Scriptures for deeper insights into the Word of God.
