Who Is Your Guide?
It was nearly dusk as I drove through a blinding rain storm en route to my sister’s. Even as the windshield wipers flew back and forth my eyes were drawn to a break in the clouds where a patch of blue sky was surrounded by white puffy clouds in the midst of the gray-black turbulence.
How like life that storm seemed to me. Moments of peace surrounded by turmoil if we do not keep our eyes properly focused on the One who is our Guide on the roadway of life. But what a comfort for each day is the signpost of the cross and the perfect love it demonstrated.

About the Book
This book is the culmination of several years of writing. It is the author’s desire to serve the Lord by providing writings that will encourage others as they walk with the Savior. These devotional materials are based on the Word of God, and the Scriptures and experiences are meant to help the reader grow and mature as he or she too encounters the living Lord.
About the Author
The author is a Christ follower who has dedicated her life to teaching others. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a master’s degree in education the author was involved in curriculum writing throughout her career as a teacher. She was a public high school teacher for 35 years in California then moved to Idaho to teach junior and senior high school students at a private Christian school. Since retiring from classroom teaching the author has enjoyed meeting with Bible study groups in the community and her local church both as a teacher and as a learner.
The author enjoys traveling around the country especially visiting historical sites. When she is not writing, she quilts, studies scriptures, and reads both fiction and non-fiction books.
The author has been blessed by a loving and supportive family that includes two grown sons and three grandsons as well as a large extended family and friends around the country. She currently lives on the family farm in Idaho.
