“I was in charge of a treasure hunt, boys, but I brought the treasure to you,” said grandpa. “Close your eyes and follow me,” continued grandpa. When we were all outside the tree room, we opened our eyes and there stood two huge, real live camels. Grandpa introduced them, “This is Lee and Isabella the camels. Just then Lee, the camel spit on my bare foot and grandpa said, “Oh yes, camels do spit.” Everyone laughed because Lee, the camel must have known I was the “Birthday Boy”.

About the Book
The eight short stories in Can You Imagine? touches the fun, joy, and sadness that is a part of a child’s life. The stories are an open window for children to imagine and enjoy life in the world around them, as well as encourage them to listen, read, and write.
About the Author
Eleanor Roby was born and raised in the rich farming and rural area of Central Ohio. Eleanor’s love for God has inspired her involvement in numerous teaching and leadership positions over the years with children, youth, and adults in her church and local community. She has enjoyed using her imagination and gift of storytelling to share God’s love. Can You Imagine? is Eleanor’s second book of short stories following her first book, Have You Ever?
