You have been getting glimpses of me throughout this book. I feel that my life is an open book and if it can be shared to help just one person, then I have accomplished my goal.
In my acknowledgment I gave a humble yet resounding thank you to my mother. I re-gret nothing I am about to say; and in addition I am so grateful that she was my mother and not someone else. I have the highest of praise toward her. She was everything I said she was and much more.
Distractions are the single most tools that Satan uses to detour anyone from obtaining their goal. He might use one or multiple distractions to get you off course. If this happens, you are now wearing spiritual blinders. You are unable to see clearly. Your perspective is all out of focus. It is difficult to hear sound advice when it is in your face and difficult to see the obstacles in your way.
Here are several examples of Satan’s distraction methods and what was the outcome.
Satan used this tool in the Garden of Eden when he distracted Eve from her normal duties of taking care of God’s garden and her worship time. God’s plans were for His creation to be obedient and live with Him forever in the place where He had provided everything man could ever need.
