About the Book
Welcome. This book was written to make learning Spanish feel possible — not overwhelming — no matter where you’re starting from. Each chapter covers one week and one word. You’ll move through a simple, repeatable rhythm: a word, a phrase, a full sentence, a grammar note, a short story for reading practice, a vocabulary list, a daily hint, a reflection tied to one of nine pillars of learning, an affirmation, a word of motivation, a prayer, and space to journal your own thoughts. You don’t need to rush. This book is built for one chapter a week — fifty-two weeks, one full year — but it will meet you wherever your pace is. Read a chapter on Sunday and let it sit with you all week. Say the word out loud, even when no one’s listening. Return to the journal pages and actually write in them; they’re there to make the words yours, not just mine. If you miss a week, don’t start over — just pick up on the next one. This isn’t a race. It’s a relationship with a new language, and like any relationship, it grows through small, consistent moments, not one long push. Remember: this is a journey, not a destination. There’s no finish line to rush toward — only the next word, the next week, the next small step forward. At the back of the book, you’ll find a bonus section: 365 words to describe your feelings, one for every day of the year. Use it alongside the weekly chapters or entirely on its own. You have what it takes. Let’s begin.
