An Exciting Ride Through Time

It was a bright and beautiful day. A gentle breeze was blowing. Flowers of many colors were in full bloom. Tree tops filtered the heat of the sun. The path was sprinkled with beams of sunshine. Walking down the sun-lit path, God brought the first woman to Adam. When Adam saw her, he was happy and grateful and gave her the name, Eve. Adam and Eve were similar to God in many ways. They were loving, good, kind, patient, and happy. God also made them to be strong, successful, and healthy. They could think, plan, create, build, and make decisions, just like He can. God made a beautiful garden for Adam and Eve to live in. It was called the Garden of Eden. He enjoyed coming to visit them every day. He was their teacher and taught them His good and loving ways. Adam and Eve had work to do too. They were to take care of the garden and rule over the animals, the birds, the fish, and the wiggly bugs. God put many things in and on the Earth for people to use. There were minerals and oil under the ground. Trees could be used for making things, like furniture and building houses. Fish, colorful vegetables, and sweet fruit provided delicious food. He made sure they would have everything they needed. Have you noticed that God enjoys variety? We know this is true because He made everything in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Even people come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. With so much variety in God's creation, we will never get tired of enjoying all the wonderful things He made.
