About the Author
Mr. Tory Barner is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves and a certified mental health professional who has worked with troubled youth and young adults who suffered from disciplinary issues and substance abuse. He has seen firsthand the impact of negative peer pressure on the youth and has worked to develop intervention programs at the young adult and elementary school levels.
Reverend Wanda Hazel is an ordained minister and a retired U.S. Army Reserves Master Sergeant with twenty-six years of service who raised three sons to be bold, kind, and courageous leaders with integrity, confidence, and a good character. She earned a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She has always been passionate about teaching children to stand up against bullies and to be leaders.
