About the Author

Dwayne C. Shavers is a minister, teacher, and leader committed to transforming lives through the power of God’s Word. As the CEO of the Rise 4 Impact nonprofit and ministries, he serves individuals, families, and communities with a message of hope, restoration, and purpose. Dwayne has served faithfully in Prison Fellowship, Angel Tree, and various outreach ministries, taking the gospel to incarcerated men and their families. His passion is to equip believers with practical, biblical tools that empower them to grow, overcome, and walk boldly in their God‑given identities. He is a graduate of the Gospel Lighthouse School of Ministry and completed a two‑year intensive ministry training program at the Worship Center of Central Ohio under Apostle David S. Carter. He currently serves under Senior Pastor Dr. Jerry D. Fryar at Gospel Lighthouse Church. Dwayne is a devoted husband to Judy A. Shavers, also honoring the legacy of his late wife, Shelinda C. Shavers. He is a proud father and grandfather, committed to building a legacy of faith, integrity, and impact. His mission is simple: to help people discover purpose, embrace transformation, and rise into everything God created them to be.
