About the Book
The closest are the Words of life that build and give -relieving strife time it takes and earnestness to walk the halls of forgiveness The farthest is the hate that tears the world to shreds and witness there nothing more divides like hate the skewed descent into vainest waste The lightest is the loving eyes that brightly shine throughout the night the gleam and sparkle found therein relieves, the heavy heart rescind Sharing candid glimpses into our journey through challenging situations allows others to witness all the ways God provides comfort through trauma and other obstacles in life. In a debut collection of inspirational poems inspired by her daily study of scripture, E. Laura Donovan leads others down a lyrical path through suffering, hope, and healing. Her poems touch on a variety of subjects including the seeds the Master depends upon who are called to salt and to light this world, the grace that can be given without strings, shame that has a price that must be paid, and much more. Many poems include a reference to specific scripture that encourages honest reflection and prayer. Poetry: Songs of Grace and Redemption is an uplifting volume of verse that offers poetic insights into one woman’s life as she leans on God to guide her through her trials and tribulations.
