I was inspired by God to write the book “How Did I Get Into Homosexuality, How Did I Become a Lesbian, And How Can I Come Out?” because my heart was filled with compassion. In these times—even as we approach 2026—many people face challenges in all kinds of relationships. There are struggles with this situation all around the world, and not everything turns out well or ends happily. Some individuals have taken their own lives due to the belief that ending a relationship with a man or expressing love for a woman would foster a stronger and more meaningful connection. In my counseling experience, people realize their situation isn't what they believe God meant for them. They often seek guidance to improve their lives. As a man of God, I did not write this book to judge or condemn anyone. The Bible states that while sin leads to death, God's gift is eternal life. People often claim to love and seek God, but usually only turn to Him sincerely when facing difficulties. I wrote this book because a lot of young people have been molested. They've been molested by their uncles, fathers, and grandfathers. The woman feel like no man would love her and if it's a man they feel like no woman would love him. There are several reasons I wrote this book. As you read, I encourage you to consider my words; applying them can improve your life. I hope you find value, peace and direction in what I've shared. About the Book
This book was inspired by the Holy Ghost and is based on my personal experiences with people who identify themselves as homosexual. This book addresses the core aspects of homosexuality, including its nature, causes, effects, and possible solutions. Each chapter was designed to explain the homosexual spirit and how it affects your emotions, life and family. If you or a family member are struggling with their identity, this book explains how to recognize the issue, understand it’s causes, and seek deliverance. The concluding prayer in this book is intended to offer encouragement and promote positive personal development.
About the Author
Bishop William A. Mitchell Jr. began preaching at 16 and is now 61. He ran his own business for 17 years before retiring at 33 and has preached internationally. At 32, he sought a healing anointing through a 31-day spiritual recluse, after which his revival meetings saw many people healed. He was instructed by the Lord to complete a 61-day shut-in, during which he lived in the church with minimal comforts. This period increased his healing anointing. For three years, he avoided restaurants, and for ten years, he did not watch television. At 38, he led the ministry to build a $500,000 church and repay its loan in just over nine years and 3 days. While the sanctuary was under construction, he was called to reconsecrate himself. In 2003, following the guidance of the Lord, he entered a period of seclusion that lasted four months—123 days and three hours. He received North Carolina’s Long Leaf Pine Award, pastored one church for 35 years, founded the Marked For A Miracle International Conference, holds a Doctorate in Biblical Studies, and was appointed Bishop in 2018. He accomplished these objectives by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and fulfilling God’s intentions for His kingdom.
