I believe the revelation most needed these days is love. Love that is vulnerable and fearless.
Love that is relentless. Love is not always pretty. It’s often messy and painful, yet love is for everybody. We have been given an invitation to know a love that seems impossible. Not only to receive, but also to give.
There are days my heart feels cold and hard. It seems easy to distance myself from people and suffering. It's in those very moments that I am reminded, it's not about my capacity to love; it's about His. His love never grows cold, gets weary, or hides.
For a long time now Jesus has been teaching me that He celebrates love. Even love that we may consider weak and simple, because love is the power that heals every wound.
I want my breakthrough to be yours, so at the end of every chapter, you will find that I've provided an opportunity to walk through listening prayers where you can take what you've read and practically apply it to your own life. Personally, I have found journaling what I feel and hear helps the truths go even deeper. I want to encourage you to do these prayers, maybe some of them over and over, because I believe that it's an opportunity to grow in love.
I am praying for each of you that as you read this, it will unlock new depths in your own journey of love. There is a wonder in love that we are meant to live in. A real, everyday kind of love that changes everything.
