A compelling desire to document the healing process stirred in my heart, and I reached for my journal and began writing. The remainder of this book follows those moments, which are shared through dated journal entries. Since I chose to believe the Lord for the restoration of my sight, seeking Him for guidance was crucial and daily prayer became my routine. This morning the Holy Spirit brought familiar Bible verses to my remembrance. One of the first words God gave was Romans 10:9-11 and verse 17. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him form the dead, thou shat be saved." This verse is commonly thought of as only applying to salvation from sin, but God revealed that salvation is also deliverance from sickness, disease and All bondages. Included in the finished work on the cross is freedom from the curse of the law.

Through this journey, I came to understand that the more time I spent in His presence, the clearer everything became. I was never alone, and believing this truth allowed me to yield fully to the Holy Spirit in prayer. And in that yielding, I found peace.
