Day 28 The death of Charlie Kirk has sparked a revival for our nation. A mother and her kids woke up today without a husband and father not because of gun laws or political views or strong opinions. It was simply because one man chose above all else to take a life. A life built on a firm foundation, the gospel itself. On the Truth that says our greatest deeds are as filthy rags, a Truth that levels the field across the board. The other Truth? Another life was lost, given rather for our freedom from the sin that threatens to tear apart this world more and more everyday. The One True God above all laws and governments gave up his Son Jesus to die for OUR sin, our recklessness, our selfishness that broke this world through and through. We have freedom of choice not because a government said so but by the very grace of a loving God. It’s how we use this undeserved freedom that will affect the lives around us. Will we love as God loves us or will we reject him and destroy the goodness in this world?
