God’s creation of DEEP TIME

In this book I invite you to join me in my time machine. It is neither a time machine of science fiction nor one of academia. It is one that stops at real times and places traveling through the geologic past, and it does so with a purpose: finding petroleum. This goal trumps all theories, creeds, doctrines, and conjectures about geology. It is a brutal business where large fortunes are gained and lost overnight. Nobody in the oil business questions the age of the Earth or even raises the subject. Nobody asks how concepts agree or disagree with the Bible. They only want to know what works for finding oil. The petroleum geology business is self-critical, self-correcting, and ever providing a hard dose of reality therapy for those wanting to bend geology to their preferred scientific, philosophic or religious interpretations. Any theories or methodologies that fail to aid in the search for hydrocarbons are summarily rejected. The past 160 years of drilling for oil have resulted in scores of rejected ones. We have learned what concepts work and what ones don’t. I invite the reader to learn about these concepts and how they can be applied to our understanding of God's Holy Word.
