Is a worldview inherent or learned? Yes. If one had access to a CAT scan of the soul, one would find that every cognitively intact person has some way of looking at the world…acknowledging that this opinion could be superficial or deep. This is one of the things that makes a human a human. Since such an opinion is inherent, the next step is to look in a mirror and ask that person, “How have I matured in learning of it by asking what is reality and what is truth?” As Christian believers, the reality is that God Is and the truth is that He communicates with us.

About the Book
Where did I come from? What am I doing here? Where am I going? Have you ever had thoughts about a worldview? Whether those were deep or shallow thoughts, you probably at least considered the above questions. The intent of this book is to offer answers that are biblically based, exposing a Christian worldview. These questions provide the three divisions of the book. The first division discusses concepts of a worldview, the Creator, and the rebellious creature. The second division lists some elements of the here and now, such as redemption, a disciplined life, music, art, defense of the faith, honoring the beginning and end of life, and reflecting the divine. The third division deals with the three possibilities when a person dies: heaven, hell, and the unbeliever’s wishful choice of oblivion. The thirteen chapters lend themselves to a Sunday School quarter, to any small group, or to personal edification. Whatever the format, I trust that the reader will mature in faith and knowledge and in the ability to explain/defend a Christian worldview.

Dr. Morris is a retired Family Physician and Ruling Elder in Christ Church (PCA), Katy, Texas. For over fifty years, he has used his gift of teaching in Sunday School and various small group settings.
