This is the second story of three With similarities I'm sure you'll agree There once was a woman who lived in her home She answered the door and said, Shalom Come in, come in, she said to her neighbors Let me tell you about all of my labors Today started out so bright and sunny Because I had ten pieces of money I stacked them up on the table right here I never thought one would disappear I opened the window to get some fresh air Then I changed my clothes and I combed my hair Through the window, flew in a crow It was in my house, but I didn't know It saw the silver stacked on the table Tried to grab all of it, but wasn't able My ten pieces of silver fell to the floor That was a noise I just couldn't ignore I saw the crow when I heard such a racket I grabbed my broom and I tried to whack it It flapped and fluttered, out the window it flew Just as I was about to throw my shoe My heart was pounding and then I paused The house was a mess from the chaos it caused And don't come back I said with laughter But then I remembered, just what it was after My laughter and smiles turned into a frown My ten silver coins had come crashing down I picked them up one by one Looked at the floor and thought I was done On the table I laid them in a line I counted, six, seven, eight, nine. One was missing, where did it go Down in the cracks it had fallen below

About the Author
Our God is an amazing God, and all glory belongs to Him for the stories shared. Because the work is for the glory of God, I want to make every book epic for Christ. I love the stories. I cherish the writing, and children love pictures with vibrant colors! I knew that in a world of increasing digital usage, these books must be special. They certainly are to me. At every stage and with every person, I have prayed over the project. Working on the children’s books has allowed me to do something not just for God but with God. We hang out together as I write. Words will just flow as I think about the biblical story, and then at some point I will come to a writer’s block—a time when nothing seems to fit. I don’t like any of the transitions or the direction of the story seems to be missing something. At that point, I pray again and then wait on Him to teach me what I don’t know yet. Sometimes that waiting period is a few moments, sometimes days, sometimes weeks, but eventually the aha moment comes and I know exactly what to do, and the writing process begins again. Then God gives me a mental image of how the pictures should look, which I relay to the artists. Several pages have brought tears to my eyes because of how they captured the exact intent, and I know God is working. There are many stories in the works for future books, and my hope is to have an assembly line of continuous releases. Funding is the only thing slowing us down. So it’s with my sincerest gratitude that I thank you for purchasing this book, allowing more work to be done for Christ. Only in eternity will we know the impact we have made. Thank you.
