About the Author

Nestor K. Ovalle is the founder and CEO of a leadership consulting organization and a lifelong practitioner of servant leadership. Before becoming an executive leadership consultant, he served as a military leader, where he first began documenting the principles and practices that shaped his understanding of service, trust, and team excellence. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Indiana University, along with MBA, MS, and BS degrees. His work has been recognized with numerous leadership performance and teaching awards. He has published extensively in peer‑reviewed journals and has presented his research at professional conferences across the country. His previous book, Servant Leadership and Trust: Core Values That Build Trust and Inspire Greatness, explores the foundational values that make leaders trustworthy.
