About the Book
Various works about Abraham have been written concerning his faithfulness and his various encounters with kings, angels, and even God Himself. Most authors shy away from the difficult explanations associated with the mystery of Melchizedek. This encounter demands our attention because our Lord creates purpose and order rather than confusion. God’s word and strict canonicity of the bible is in view here while every detail is considered. Other books may use unreliable sources and uninspired literature to create a story that sounds plausible. That is not the case here. If you believe in Holy Spirit inspired text and appreciate mysteries as only an omniscient God could create, then this book is for you. We are introduced to the fascinating eternal order following this enigmatic assembly that took place after Abraham’s men return following the rescue of Lot and his people. This study will help anchor our faith in an omnipotent God whose power reveals itself in a coordinated unfolding as He “works all things according to the counsel of His will.” (Ephesians 1:11) Greater and eternal elements under the New Covenant are delivered to us through Christ, the one true divinely appointed and eternal high priestly figure. Blessings are imparted upon God’s people under both covenants as we observe God’s patience during thousands of years of history until the fullness of time explodes in the most remarkable display of meekness and humility as Christ comes on scene as God in the flesh. What do we really know? Let’s find out!
