About the Book
I understand, more than most, the struggle of addiction because I have lived through it for eight years and overcame it. It grabs ahold of you tightly and will not let go no matter how hard you try to wriggle free. It causes broken relationships, isolation, low self-esteem and depression. These things can lead to a downward spiral of poor life choices and even suicide. But there is hope! I have discovered the exit door and want so badly for everyone struggling with addiction to know it. I encourage you to read my story to the end so that you might get a glimpse of the way out.
About the Author
Christopher Lee Mathis is a former cocaine addict and alcoholic who was delivered from all substances when he surrendered his life to Jesus. He was in youth ministry for a number of years and then fell away when the thrill of mind-altering substances took over his life. He raced down the destructive path of addiction until he was broke, homeless and hopeless. Feeling trapped with nothing left; he cried out to God who heard him and responded. His life has never been the same.
