WHAT BETTER PLACE to learn from Jesus Christ himself about love than from two passages that show us his words and actions on the Cross. On the Cross, we see Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, the very definition of love completely stretched out for us to look at. In him, we see love in all its dimensions and he bleeds love there. It’s impossible to spend too much time thinking about the incredible nature of his love for us shown on the Cross. The gospels include more accounts than these about Jesus on the Cross, but in these two passages alone, God shows us how much is spanned by his love; we see both love for family... and love for enemies...There’s a world of difference between those two things. But Jesus’ love stretches out wide enough for all. He is a master at bringing things together, like family and enemies, that don’t normally go together.

Two thousand years after Jesus came to earth, he is still the way, the truth and the life. Experience him in a fresh way.
