God gives us the Holy Spirit to help us. He knows that we will experience many emotions because He created us that way. He also knows that we need supernatural help when we have sad and bad things happen to us and to those we love. The Holy Spirit helps us to make good choices.
When we harvest physical fruit, we are picking the fruit from the plant to use. We can use the fruit to eat, to make juice or to use in other things. Sometimes, we take the seeds from the fruit and use them to grow another plant for more fruit. The fruit must be picked off the plant before we can use it.
When we feel sad or mad or scared we can ask God to help us harvest the fruit so we feel love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control too! When others see that we have the Fruit of the Spirit, and when we share the seeds of what we learn about God with others, we help them grow and harvest this spiritual fruit too.

About the Book
This book teaches young children about the fruit of the Spirit and gives examples of how to live it out with the help of the Holy Spirit. There are Biblical examples from well-known Bible heroes and explanations to help children recognize fruit in themselves and others.
About the Author
Angela Gladden is a follower of Christ, a wife, and an aunt to many nephews and nieces. Even though she doesn’t have children of her own, she is passionate about spreading the gospel and helping young children learn about Jesus.
Audrey Lucile, a bright and imaginative young girl from the Upstate of South Carolina, has a passion for soccer and sweets. When not lost in reading a good book, you can find her doodling. Audrey hopes her artwork will inspire others to understand the fruit of the Spirit.
