You can't change the past, but you can ruin a perfectly good present by worrying about the future.

"It's not the days of your life, but it's the life in your days that count."
Adeleye Stevens
Wealth isn't happiness. The first wealth is health; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. The ability to discern what is true and right is a superpower. True wealth is the freedom to pursue the true you. Wealth is the ability to fully experience life. Wealth is much more than money; it's the freedom to do what God has made for you to do. Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process begins. Keeping an open mind is one of the most important things you can do to improve your happiness, health, wealth and wisdom. Keep learning to upgrade your ideas about designing a good life. Walk through life with the mindset that you will always learn. Instead of seeing happiness, healthiness, wealth, and wisdom as separate concepts, it is far more productive to view happiness, healthiness, wealth and wisdom as interlocking pillars. Having any one of these things is a step in the right direction toward having them all. They come together when we live with intention and embrace habits that support a better life. When we have a good balance of happiness, healthiness, wealth and wisdom, we experience fulfillment. The more balanced our life is, the happier we feel and the more confident we become in order to tackle the challenges that come our way. In our chaotic world, it's difficult to find balance. With so many distractions, pressures and responsibilities pulling us in different directions, it is hard to focus on what's important. Doctors won't make you healthy. Nutritionists won't make you slim. Teachers won't make you smart. Gurus won't make you calm. Mentors won't make you rich. Trainers won't make you fit. Pastors won't make you more spiritual. You must take responsibility to apply what you've learned in order to save yourself. Good health is the commitment to take complete control of your life. A healthy lifestyle is a personal choice. Making the right choices significantly impact your long-term happiness, quality of life and well-being. Happiness is a byproduct of a meaningful life. Being healthy isn't something that happens to you - it's something you choose. Many factors such as diet, exercise, sleep, and stress, impact your wellbeing. Eating isn't always about what satisfies your taste buds, its fuel for your body and mind. Regular exercise strengthens your muscles, improves your cardiovascular health, and enhances your mood. Quality sleep is essential for your body's repair and rejuvenation. Effective stress management helps you maintain your balance and sense of well-being. These factors play a significant role in your long-term quality of life. By making the right decisions, you take ownership of your health, making staying motivated come more naturally. Taking control of your health and wellness will give you the mental energy necessary to make wise decisions. Three essentials to happiness are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. A good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination. Wealth means good health, meaningful relationships, memorable experiences, and knowledge for a better life. Money doesn't buy health or happiness. I'd rather be healthy and live in a tent than to be sick and live in a castle. I'd rather have a love affair in a modest home than be lonely in a mansion. New activities prove to be a strong predictor of a satisfying life. Non-monetary gifts to others like volunteering your time and talents or just helping someone is associated with true happiness. You can be happy and wealthy at the same time. Remember, real wealth isn't defined by money; it can mean many things - greater control of your time, health, and being surrounded by love and support.
Every birthday is a milestone. It's God's way of telling us that He's planned for us to live another year. Aging is relative or more accurate, it's irrelative. When we're young we are so anxious to be older. When we're older we wish we could turn back the clock. That's completely wasted mental energy and unrealistic. We should redirect our focus on loving and living exactly where we're at. Live and love in the moment. Today. Every day presents a new fork in the road. Use your God given instincts to make the correct turn. Today is where the miracles happen. Today is the only promise we have. Accept today as a gift given to you directly from God. Remember, you'll only get out of today what you put into it. You won't have a good tomorrow if you don't have a good today.
"Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wings of time."
-Jean Paul Richter
"Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present."

Every day presents us a new crossroads, sometimes multiple crossroads. Decide to make the correct turn. Just do the next right thing.
