About the Book
When Faith Seems So Far Away is an honest, hope-filled guide to anyone walking through seasons of struggle, offering practical and spiritual help to reach for faith even in the darkest places. Drawing from her own painful valley season, Cynthia Thomas invites readers to discover what faith truly is, how it grows and why it matters most when life feels the hardest. Each chapter explores a different facet of faith –from a mustard seed of faith, to the daily decision to choose faith, to holding on when faith feels out of reach. Along the way, Cynthia offers biblical truth, practical encouragement, and deeply personal stories that point to God’s faithful presence. With Faith Pause reflections–thought provoking questions paired with Scripture or inspirational quotes–this book guides readers to reflect on God’s promises and apply each truth personally, helping nurture a daily walk of faith. No matter where you find yourself–confident, questioning, or barely hanging on–these pages will point you to the One who holds it all together. If you’re longing to believe again and to trust God even when you can’t see the way forward, this book will encourage you to lift your eyes to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. He meets you in the wilderness and never leaves you there.
