About the Author

Phyllis A. Clemons is a Cincinnati native with a deep-seated passion for written communication and spiritual mentorship. She is the author of several transformative works, including the Broken-Wing series, A Journey Through Affliction, and Masters of the Marketplace: Representing God’s Kingdom in the World of Work. In 2021, she expanded her reach into children’s literature with her debut picture book, Lydia: It’s A New Day. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Administrative Management, Phyllis also holds a Master in Religious Education from Cincinnati Bible Seminary. When she isn’t writing or teaching the Bible, she enjoys knitting, cooking, and baking. Phyllis and her husband, Randall, are the proud parents of two sons and doting grandparents. Her life and ministry are anchored in John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing”(ESV).
