About the Book

Each story draws from true-to-life adventures that Christine Crossen experienced while living a subsistence lifestyle in Alaska’s wilderness. Through characters inspired by real family members, children will view the Northern Lights, fly in a single-engine plane, and watch moose along the lake shore, all while learning how God’s handiwork still speaks today. Included are suggested activities that encourage families to notice God’s design and grow in faith. About the Author

Christine Crossen lived for over twenty years in Alaska’s wilderness with her late husband, embracing a subsistence lifestyle. She holds a BA in Christian studies and an MA in leadership. Christine’s heart for children inspires her to share true adventures through Devotions for Little Hearts, bringing God’s love and wild beauty to young readers.
