A Faith Walk 'But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him ' Hebrews 11:6 KJV Hebrews 11 paints a powerful picture of what faith looks like in real life. It’s not just a feeling, its action, trust, and endurance. These people here weren’t perfect, but they believed God. Abel offered his best, and God saw his heart; Enoch walked with God so closely that he didn’t experience death; Noah built an ark in the dry land, because God told him a flood was coming. Abraham left everything familiar to him to follow a promise from God he hadn’t even received yet; and Sarah, Sarah believed in her heart that God could do the impossible and give her a child in old age. Their belief shaped their choices, guided their steps, and gave them hope beyond what they could see. Each of these people acted on faith, not because they saw the end result, but because they trusted the One who made the promise. Their lives teach us that faith means moving forward even when we don’t have all the answers. It means living for something greater than what we can see with natural eyes. Faith is how we connect with God. It’s how we please Him, not by having everything perfect, but by trusting Him deeply. And when we do, He rewards that trust, not always with what we expect, but always with what we need. When we believe we see something greater ahead, a heavenly home, a kingdom not built by human hands. It is our call to walk by faith, not by sight. To trust God, even in the waiting. To believe that His promises are true, even if we don’t see them yet. Prayer God as we wake up this morning, we are thanking You for life and strength. We give honor and praise to you because You are worthy. You deserve it all! God today we ask that You increase our faith. Help our unbelief. We believe already that you are God and that you will reward us who seek you. And we do know that it is impossible to please You if we don’t have faith. So, help us to believe that You will do the things that you’ve promised. We want faith to believe that You will provide, protect and prosper us. We want faith to believe that You are a healer, a deliverer and a savior. We believe in Your word, and we know that You never fail. Increase our faith today, Lord, won’t You? In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. Reflection Are we walking in confidence, conviction, credence and assurance that God is who He says He is and that He will do exactly what He says he would? Trouble Don’t Last Always “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10 KJV God is not just the giver of some grace; He is the source of all grace. Every good thing we receive; strength, mercy, comfort, forgiveness, help in trouble, comes from Him. This reminds us that we’re not facing hardship alone. We have the full backing of the God whose grace never runs out. God has called us to something far greater than temporary suffering, He has called us into eternal glory, made possible through Jesus Christ. That means we’re headed for a forever future with Him where there will be no more night, pain, sorrow, or struggle. This calling gives meaning to our suffering because it’s not the end of our stories. Yes, suffering is real, but it’s only for a season. “A while” may feel long, but it is short compared to eternity. God sees the end from the beginning, and He knows just how long to allow it, no more, no less. He established time, so He knows just the right amount of it to allow our suffering. It’s not pointless, He’s doing something in us through it. This is God’s promise of restoration: that we are made perfect, He will complete and mature us through trials and tribulations; that He will establish us, making us firm and unshakable in our faith; He will strengthen and empower us with renewed courage and spiritual strength; and finally, He will settle us, anchor us in His peace, stability and confidence in Him. To summarize, this verse is a healing promise for hurting hearts. Suffering may come, but it’s temporary. Weeping may come and stay for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Grace is constant. Glory is eternal. And God will use the hardship to perfect us, strengthen us, and settle our souls in Him. Prayer Father of all time and space, You are the omnipotent One! The One that nothing is too hard for, The One with no limits! We glorify You God for the grace You give during our suffering, trials and tribulations of every sort! You are the unmovable God, the unshakable God. Nothing can hinder You and so we look to You as the only source for making it through this life victoriously. We thank You that we are made perfect in You. Forever is a long time, but that’s how long You said You’ll love us, eternally through Jesus Christ our Savior. We will always bless You and will sing praises to Your name forever! Lead us and guide us into all truth, in Jesus’ name, Amen. Reflection Are we suffering in silence, or have we given our suffering to the One who knows just how long to allow it?

A lifelong writer, she began crafting poetry and essays as a young girl, discovering early on the power of language to heal, to strengthen, and to reveal truth. Much of Angela’s passion for words was shaped by her mother, who poured into her a love for reading, expression, and creativity. From her mother, she learned how to see beauty in sentences, purpose in storytelling, and courage in sharing her voice. From her mother, too, came her love for God—a foundation that has carried her through every season of life. And from her mother’s encouragement, she learned to love the ability within herself; to believe she had something worth saying, and to trust the gifts placed in her by God. Spiritually, Angela draws inspiration from the Holy Spirit, who guides her writing, her devotions, and her walk with Christ. Her heart’s desire is to encourage others, help them see God in their everyday lives, and remind them that they can stand firm even when life is shaking.
