If God has picked out that perfect person designed around faithfulness, love, and honor, then why would you want to throw that gift away by doing everything your own way? You may not know your future spouse, but you already know that if you are going to marry him or her, they must be special. After all, you will love them so much that you cannot picture your life without him or her so you are willing to give them a lifetime commitment under God, family, and friends.
