About the Author
When Sandy Duhé's children were 2 and 4, she went looking for a Jesus ABC book and couldn't find one. So while her children napped, she began to write, delighted by the rhyming cadence she discovered in the words. After a few publisher pitches and several edits, L is for Love: My Jesus ABCs sat on her laptop as she balanced family, home, graduate school, and work life. Although she had the words, her book required the right illustrator to bring her vision to life. Fourteen years later, Sandy returned home from a month-long trip to India and had a vivid dream about the book. She woke early to capture as much as she could recall in her journal. Hours later, she noticed she left her coffee cup by her journal. At the bottom of the cup was a perfectly formed heart. Sandy formed Loving Cup Creations, LLC, and, days later, found the perfect illustrator in longtime friend and teaching colleague Suzanne Larkin. Sandy lives in Dallas, Texas, with her family and fur babies. She travels frequently and fills her time working on things she loves.
