My name is Eleanor Pearl Wilbanks and today is January 25, 2025. It is my Birthday today and I am 84 years old. I have asked myself and prayed about what I am going to accomplish in the year of 2025. So I have I listened to tugging of my Heart and the HOLY SPIRIT telling me to the write another book and share our Love Story and to encourage others when they feel their marriage is losing the peace and joy it once had . I love music and I have always loved the gospel songs from our pasts that have ministered to us through the years. Ed and I enjoyed having music in our lives and our days of ministering in various churches and events with our CHERISHED FRIENDS. I go back and listen to some of our favorite love songs. I am asking the Holy Spirit to guide me in writing my second book in order to bring a message of encouragement to anyone that has a need. I am also asking the Holy Spirit to anoint each song I record and may it be a blessing in each word.

About the Book
This is the story of a young couple, Edwin and Eleanor—how they met, fell in love, and built a life together.
Their marriage was filled with joy, adventure, and unforgettable moments, but also with trials that would test even the strongest bond.
Over the years, they battled Edwin’s alcohol addiction, faced the tragic murder of Eleanor’s mother during a bank robbery, saw friends and family members, divorce, battled cancer and other health issues, and endured the heartbreaking early deaths of two grandchildren. Their love—
and their resolve to stay together—was repeatedly pushed to the limit.
Yet their story is ultimately one of faith: God walked with them through every circumstance, sustaining their marriage for sixty-six years until Edwin went to his home in heaven April 13, 2024.

About the Author
Eleanor Wirt Wilbanks was born and raised in Arlington, Tennessee. She went to Bartlett High School where she met Edwin, and they married young. Look at Us highlights their life together, with all its ups and downs. She is also the author of Legacy of Hope, which explores the obstacles her family has overcome. A gospel singer, she loves to give everything to God. She hopes her books inspire others to do all that God calls them to do.
