About the Book
Raised as a Southern Baptist, Nora Grant learned early in her life to love God. As she matured and entered college, she eventually traveled to Belize on a mission trip. There she met and fell in love with Daniel, another intern serving the Lord through mission work, and they were married within a few months. However, Nora had no idea that three days into the marriage, her new husband would tell her it had been a mistake, and twenty-nine years later, she would find herself at a crossroads that would change the course of her life forever.
In a deeply moving personal story, Nora reveals how life eventually led her to stand for her faith and relationship with God—a decision that ultimately ended her marriage. As she discloses how the Lord lovingly walked her through the most difficult time of her life, she offers inspirational insight into how He gently guided her out of the deepest grief she has ever experienced, and gave her hope and purpose. Throughout her story, Nora reminds others that there is no pain without purpose, and no season in life without reason.
As for Me is the true story of a devoted believer’s walk with God as He guided her through the pain of a broken marriage, unspeakable grief, and into the light of healing.
