The storm swept over the sea and was upon them quickly. A storm was no problem, the man knew exactly what to do to keep his boat from capsizing, but his trouble was that his passengers were both novice sailors. Even Dean hadn’t seen many storms yet. Waves began licking the boat and soon were jumping over the sides, as the rain, the wind, and cold swirled about. This was a bigger storm than he had expected, and predicted. The man shouted to the two boys to get into the cabin and shut the door. At first, they were reluctant, but soon, they all started heading towards the cabin. The sea tossed the boat, throwing the man to the deck; a wave leaped over the edge, and as he scrambled to his feet, he watched in horror as both of the boys were swept overboard. Frantic, a nauseating feeling gripped his bones as he raced to the edge of the boat to look out into the ocean.
