About the Book
God often calls us toward a more intentional walk with him. When Stefanie Kipfer felt this stirring in her heart, God inspired her to organize a group of women to pursue him. The plan consisted of a three-part challenge including reading and prayer plans as well as a walking regimen. In the midst of the challenge, Stefanie also sent daily text messages with her thoughts and reflections on the scripture. After encouragement from these women, Read, Pray, Walk was born. In a daily devotional designed to encourage Christians to draw closer to the Lord, Stefanie leans on the book of John to guide believers through specific verses while offering thoughtful reflections and applications as well as opportunities to journal thoughts, feelings, and prayers. Through her guidance, believers—either individually or with a group—will read God’s word, pray wholeheartedly, and walk a mile every day for forty days to fill their lives with more peace and purpose. Read, Pray, Walk: Forty-Day Challenge uses the Gospel of John to encourage believers to draw closer to the Lord, even with busy schedules.
