About the Book
Tina’s debut book, The Nearness of God, includes intimate details of her close walk with God as well as the revelations He has given to her to communicate to others.
About the Author
Tina Slaughter uses her God-given gifts to encourage others to walk in spiritual freedom. She and her husband, Joel, have been serving those who live on the streets for over five years. As Jesus’ disciples they have been instrumental in connecting others to Him. Tina grew up in church and had a personal encounter with Jesus at the age of nine. That is when she received Him as her Savior. She treasures her relationship with Jesus Christ above all else. Tina resides in Vancouver, Washington, with her husband, Joel, and their two adult married children. Tina and Joel are part of a thriving church community where they serve on the hospitality team as well as they lead a homelessness outreach group. Tina is a National Board Certified elementary teacher who holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Mathematics. She has been teaching in her local school district for the past 17 years.
