About the Book
Robert, a young child planted a cherry seed in his yard. Over the years this seed grew to become a large tree. Seasons came and went. Years passed. Yet, no cherries were on the tree. There was thought that the tree was not really a cherry tree, so should be cut down. Robert’s brother showed that a broken tree branch was red, like cherry wood, and also smelled like cherry. So, the tree was saved from being cut. Years passed until 22 years later the tree blossomed, then later yielded a bounty of cherries. There were enough cherries for family, neighbors, and even for the birds.
