Introduction to Practical Evangelism “Every Believer Has a Role in Winning the Lost”, Dr. Matthew Garcia is to enrich our lifestyle of sharing the gospel to the lost which is the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ for the church today. This book introduces practical ways for every Christian to develop a passion to be involved in sharing the gospel, also to work collectively as a church body so every person that doesn’t know the Lord as his personal savior can come to Christ. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish, (Matthew 18:14). The purpose of this book is to go guide readers in understanding the word evangelism and its history to engaging in practical evangelism for our time. Many aspects of our society have changed from the past generations, and we’re in a difficult generation where practical solutions are needed. The church and the human race must know, the heart of God, and that man needs a savior, and we, the church, are the key people to fulfilling the mission that is before us. Different strategies are introduced in this book, which are making a great impact in winning the lost for Christ in our nation and the around the world. Knowing God’s heart is essential in taking the gospel to our families, societies, cities, and the world. This book is only an introduction and not limited of presenting different ways to reach the lost. How does one adapt to different cultures and changes that need to be done? The different generations that are already here for example today there are up to five generations attending churches. Those are the questions Dr. Garcia tries to answer, in not only winning those that are without Christ but also our children. Evangelism a win-win ministry because there’s room for everyone in the church to participate. Dr. Garcia introduce different styles of evangelism; personal, a lifestyle of evangelism, and collectively as a church. All active members of the church should be identified and be part of a special program that brings discipleship training to participate in the lifestyle evangelism of the church based on passion.
There are significantly influential contributions from Balvin Braham's, Mack J. Stiles, David Puig-Jordan, Rene Padilla, Apostolic Assembly Strategy of Jesus, and others which bring different perspectives on evangelism. Drawn from the author’s pastoral, theological, experiences in providing practical advice, this book present solutions and a plan for continuity in evangelism and how to measure the effectiveness in the strategies that are being used, perhaps changes that need to be made. His desire is for every believer to develop a passion like Gods heart to bring a dying world to the feet of Jesus Christ.

About the Book
The Lord has called every Christian to serve Him in holiness and to win the lost for His kingdom. This means that every believer has a role in reaching others with the gospel. It is essential that we cultivate a lifestyle of sharing the good news, which remains the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church today. In this book, I introduce practical ways for every Christian to develop a genuine passion for evangelism, along with strategies for working together as the body of Christ so that all who do not yet know the Lord as their personal Savior may come to Him. As Jesus said, “Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish” (Matthew 18:14). This book also explores different expressions of evangelism—personal outreach, lifestyle evangelism, and collective efforts within the church. Every active member of the church should be identified, equipped, and encouraged to participate in a structured discipleship program that fosters a lifestyle of evangelism rooted in passion and obedience. The purpose of this book is to guide readers in understanding the meaning and history of evangelism while equipping them to engage in effective, practical outreach in our present time. Our society has changed significantly from past generations, and we now face unique challenges that require thoughtful, relevant, and practical approaches. My prayer is that this writing will be a blessing to its readers and ignite a deep passion to bring the lost into the Lord’s kingdom.
About the Author
Dr. Bishop Matthew K. García of Albuquerque, NM has had the privilege to pastor for over 45 years in the Apostolic Assembly of The Faith in Christ Jesus. At a very young age, he was called to the ministry and has served in several capacities of the church. He is the pastor of The Journey Apostolic Church (First Apostolic Church) in Las Cruces, NM for 35 years. He is the founder of the third Apostolic church in Las Cruces, NM. Dr. Garcia holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting and a minor degree in Counseling, Educational and Psychology (CEP) from the New Mexico State University, a Master’s in Divinity from Fuller and McCormick Seminary, and a Doctorate degree in Practical Ministries from McCormick Seminary. He has taught in the International Apostolic Bible College all over the country for the last 15 years. He taught as an instructor for Doña Ana Community College in Las Cruces, NM.
