Often in the Bible when people are speaking to God or in the presence of God it is at the mountain top. The Bible does not say the hilltop, it says the mountain top. Why? I believe it is because we have to look up beyond our situation, beyond our circumstances, beyond our abilities, beyond our doubts, beyond everything that separates us from communicating with God. We cannot meet God halfway and then stop and wait for Him to come down. We have to be all in. We have to be willing to climb up that mountain. It is only then that we can look down and see all that is behind us, all that we have overcome, all that we are forgiven for. If we stop half way, we will never be satisfied because we will never fulfill what God has planned for us. We will become stagnant.

About the Book
At some point in everyone’s life they will have to choose whether to give up or to push on. It’s not always an easy choice. Life seems to move us in directions that we don’t always want to go.
This book will take on many different challenges. There will be biblical examples of perseverance along with real life stories. Some may be hard to read, others may not seem that bad, but all have one thing in common; the people involved chose to persevere rather than give up or give in. They fought and they trusted God when there was no other way to go and the road seemed to always have a dead end. I am sure that you will find at least one example that relates to you in a way that shows you what you need to know;
You are not the only one to go through it
and you too can survive and be an overcomer.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
