About the Book
When Allie moves to a new house, she wonders if her heart will ever be the same again. A handsome neighbor, a loving child, a fugitive, and a couple of bad guys could all change her life. Her daily challenges compete for her peace of mind, but she realizes that her life is about to get more interesting, and she’s in for an adventure!
Amid some health issues, the pretty brunette faces unwanted recurring contact with her ruthless ex-husband. While getting settled in her new house, she meets a sweet child who lives across the street, along with the child’s kind, fun-loving father.
She has to ask herself some heartfelt questions. Could she trust anyone in a romantic relationship ever again? Could she trust her judgement after all she has experienced? What became of her dear friend that disappeared? How will she escape from a desperate situation? The answer always leads her home, wherever that may be.
