About the Book
A young girl named Talitha has a bad day at school. She receives a report card with a bad grade in math, and she cries when she gives her grades to her mom. She feels disappointed in herself. But then her mom begins to tell her stories from the life of Jesus— in particular, the miracles he performed while on earth. Soon Talitha learns that whenever she feels as if all hope is gone, she can put her trust in Jesus, and he will help her. Jesus Christ: The Miracle Worker presents summaries of some of the miracles that Jesus performed, using descriptions backed up with scripture, including the greatest one of all. These stories serve as a reminder to readers that they are not alone during trying times in life. People of all ages can lean on the Miracle Worker, Jesus Christ, in times of distress. Just as he assisted people in the Bible who had the faith to trust Him, he is willing to prove himself to you today in all issues in life.
About the Author
Dr. VAP Persaud, PhD, is a counselor and counselor educator focused on working with clients of all ages struggling with trauma, grief, and addiction. She teaches Sunday school at her local church and enjoys educating children about the goodness of God from God’s Word. She seeks to encourage readers struggling with worldly challenges not to give up in life but to lean on Jesus Christ, the Miracle Worker, in all circumstances.
