Joy Comes in the Morning

Have you ever found yourself unexpectedly thrust into a life-changing situation, questioning, “Why, Lord? Is this part of Your plan for my life?” When faced with trials, it is natural to doubt whether God hears our cries and if He will respond with the comfort and joy we need to endure. In this book, twelve resilient women share their complex journeys and reveal how they came through with a newfound trust in God and His plan. Three of these women testify to God’s ongoing presence as they endured the heartbreaking loss of a child to a devastating disease. Two others relate their experiences of feeling like the prodigal son in the Bible, being far away from family and home. One contributor vividly recounts God’s mercy in her journey through drug addiction and incarceration. A tragic accident and subsequent rehabilitation led another woman to reassess her career and family values. Several contributors describe how they sought God’s guidance while faced with decisions that would change their futures.. Each woman encountered significant challenges, yet they maintained hope that God would provide assistance. They engaged in prayer, studied the scriptures, and ultimately surrendered their difficulties to Him, realizing that God is attentive to prayers and provides answers. Through their experiences, they aspire to encourage others who face similar obstacles to seek the hope that only God can offer. What may initially appear hopeless may, in fact, serve as a stepping stone to a more favorable outcome. Although sorrow endured for a season, these resilient women have discovered that God will renew strength and bring joy each morning.
