About the Book
The Old Testament is deep, sometimes leaving Christians feeling underwater and in need of a life preserver. In a biblical commentary shared in essay form, James Wisnewski provides easy-to-understand explanations of the culture and times in which these Bible books were written to help ordinary people see their eternal loving God behind the often confusing wording. While relying on over six decades of studying the Bible and extensive experience as an educator, he conveys ideas in ways Christians can understand and appreciate while working his way through each book, its meaning, and the vibrant characters who help tell the stories through their insights and lessons learned. Included are images and applicable scripture that assist in guiding Christians through each of the books. Wading in Deep Waters is a biblical commentary of the Old Testament, dissected by a former educator, to help Christians better understand these important stories and lessons.
