What do you think is God’s favorite color? My Grandma asked me this question when I was about 15 years old. I had walked away from God after my uncle was killed in a farming accident. Grandma’s healing question caused me to look at God differently, creating a new perspective. It made me think of who and where God is. Like, He is a person with a personality. Changing my perception of God and my life. Looking for God in nature will affect your head and heart. Creation is almost like God shouting, “Here I Am.” Learn to look for and recognize God’s artistic creations and presence in nature's unique details, such as spider webs, bird formations, and wildflowers' many patterns and colors. Nature teaches that the purpose of life is a life of purpose. Confidently live life knowing you are deeply loved and wonderfully made. Understand that God cares for you when you are hurting and feels your pain through discussing the story of Job to recognize we don’t always get the answer to our why. God shows His love to you through nature because God is nature. Learn to trust God and let go of your fears. God’s presence is with you 24/7. He has proven His power to be trustworthy generation after generation by always taking care of His people and providing peace and healing. God is in control of all creation and has an orderly plan. Learn to live life expecting to see God in it.

Debbie Feyh was born a farmer’s daughter and blessed to be a farmer’s wife. She holds degrees in animal science and agricultural economics from Kansas State University.
