Worship God with your life. (Psalm 103:1-2, Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits) (Luke 24:52-53, And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.) Blessings, how often have we prayed to the God of Heaven in Jesus name to bless us, yet fail to return the sentiment by blessing Him? There are many verses in the Bible speaking of how God blesses the faithful. How about starting right now by consciously living a life as a blessing to God? How so? First, begin every day in appreciation for the many blessings we enjoy. Here in the United States, we enjoy security and provision many in the world could not imagine. We live in comfort as our homes have heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Our cupboards and refrigerators are filled with delicacies of our choosing. Recently the weather has been extreme yet there is always somewhere to go to get warm. It is said that even the homeless in the United States are rich compared to average citizens in certain countries. From Psalm 103 we are instructed to Bless the LORD and be sure to not forget his benefits. Praise God! Living a life as a blessing to God is to be connected in heartfelt communication with Him daily. Yet there will be those who claim Jesus but in Matt 7.“Depart from Me you doers of iniquity for I never knew you”. A simple way to please God is by expressing our relationship to others while inwardly living with the certainty that He knows us. (1 John 2:2-4, And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.) When we come to God as our spirit overflows with blessing, we acknowledge what He has done for us. Jesus, being perfect, paid the price to redeem the souls of whoever will repent, be born again and believe in His Holy Name. Worship God with your life.

About the Book
‘Plain Talk from the Word of God’ is a 400 word devotional that follows three aspects of Biblical understanding; Observation, Interpretation and most importantly Application. Be prepared to reach for your Bible to see that which you had just read is so.
About the Author
The Author, was involved in Christianity from birth and always had a desire to be as the Biblical reference to the church in Berea and would seek the scriptures to see if that which was told were so. As the years progressed and the search for truth grew, the author was drawn to the Bible Teaching of Pastor Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapel through the radio program, ‘To Every Man an Answer’. There was one response to a question that stuck with theAuthor from Pastor Chuck, ‘I don’t know, but every time I read God’s word His Truth is revealed a little more’. As a result the 50 mile drive to the nearest Calvary Chapel brought about the enrollment in Calvary Chapel Bible College, who would eventually teach at the same. Out of this association came these 400 word devotionals that were broadcast over Christian Radio. Pastor Bill resides with his wife on a small farm where he raises sheep and continues to serve Jesus Christ.
