About the Book
SAVING BEACH MANSION weaves romance into a tale of adventure on the picturesque Texas Gulf Coast, as two college seniors work feverishly to rescue a historic mansion from the menacing grip of a conniving and greedy developer. When Wayne rescues Misty from her capsized sailboat, he gains an assistant on a project to save a historic mansion from a nefarious developer. Neither realizes that their attempts to salvage the house will test their courage, faith, and newfound love as they stumble upon a drug smuggling ring operating out of the mansion. Injuries from a horrific car wreck threaten Wayne’s life, and Misty and her friends must “put on the whole armor of God” and engage in “effectual, fervent prayer” on his behalf. Will all their efforts be in vain, or will love and righteousness prevail?
About the Author
Raised on the Texas Gulf Coast as a Navy brat, Wynne Loveless loved this old house on the beach near her home and felt compelled to write about it. She earned her Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, then Paramedic certification and multiple Texas teaching certificates. She served on a local ambulance for several years, and taught secondary math and science in public and private schools for 25 years. Her love for writing originated with her mother, who taught her to proofread, and wrote several of the Texas Historical Markers in the Rockport area. Wynne loves serving King Jesus, spending time with her wonderful family, swimming and sailing, and traveling to explore new wonders of God’s magnificent Creation. She wrote this first book at 30, but didn’t pursue publishing it until she retired recently. Since then, this old house has actually become a historic home in Texas!
