Life doesn’t always go as planned. The Redirected Road is a powerful memoir of faith, resilience, and transformation. When Kristi Mouse was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, her journey took an unexpected detour. Faced with uncertainty, she turned to her faith, uncovering the power of Biblical wisdom, holistic healing, and perseverance. Through personal stories, scriptural insights, and practical health guidance, Kristi shares how she reclaimed her health and deepened her relationship with God. This book is for anyone facing life’s challenges, whether health struggles, spiritual battles, or unexpected roadblocks, seeking encouragement and direction. Join Kristi on this inspiring journey and discover how life’s detours can lead to God’s greater plan for healing, growth, and renewed purpose.

About the Author

Kristi Lea Mouse received her Bachelor of Science in Education, with an emphasis
in art, from Baylor University in 1999. Following college, she taught art for Rockwall
Independent School District in Rockwall, TX., owned her own freelance art and
mural business in the Dallas area and was a stay-at-home mother for twelve years before
returning to a middle-school art classroom. While a stay-at-home mom, Kristi
not only painted murals and commissioned pieces of art but mentored high school
and elementary girls, authored a girls’ Bible study to use in leading a girls’ ministry,
spoke on health education for a health and wellness foundation and authored and
led a wellness and fitness ministry at her church, Lakepointe Church in Rockwall.
After twenty years in the Dallas area, her family moved to her husband’s hometown
of Elk City, OK in 2022. Kristi and her husband Boyd have three wonderful teenagers,
Bryce, Kirbey, and Brooks. After many years in education, mentoring and leading youth, and, writing and
leading Bible studies, the Lord called Kristi into full-time ministry through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
She is currently the FCA Southwest Oklahoma Area Representative. She continues to write and illustrate Bible
studies and books she hopes will inspire people in their Christian faith to lead a more fully devoted life to the Lord.
